Celebration & Holy Fuck Remix Each Other

I've been a big fan of music on the 4AD label for *gulp* nearly 20 years now. In their heyday, 4AD released records by Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, Dif Juz, This Mortal Coil, Pixies, Lush, The Breeders, Unrest, Red House Painters and Lisa Germano, among others. They haven't signed any really compelling bands for quite some time (besides Blonde Redhead) but I'm still receiving 4AD emails from time to time. I got an email today that contained links to two new songs that are actually pretty hot. One is the band Celebration remixing a Holy Fuck song, and the other is Holy Fuck remixing Celebration. Listen to them below the fold.

Celebration sounds a bit like a mix between The Fiery Furnaces and The Rapture. Raw vocals, distorted guitars, and a heavy danceable beat. I downloaded (legally, mind you) their album The Modern Tribe and I'm liking it so far.

Celebration 'Fly The Fly', Holy Fuck remix:

Now, I haven't heard the original of this Holy Fuck song, but it reminds me a lot of Dead Can Dance. Instrumental, tribal and ethereal, with a middle-eastern twist. Frenchy is the kind of song you want to listen to while spinning around and around in your bedroom, falling over dizzy on your bed.
