Slut Night at Phase 1 Tonight

Slut Night, inspired by the courageous Butch and Femme community nationwide, is a night dedicated to limitless self-expression and decadent sexuality. It is a reclamation, a rejoicing at a venue in which DC's queer women and transfolk can feel free to be the sexiest version of themselves.
Join us for a Phase Fest fundraiser like no other by coming to Slut Night in whatever makes you feel most sexy...cleavage, ties, stilettos, boots, polos, feathers or even just jeans. This is a no-holds-barred event where you can be you and be positively free to engage your personal definition of "slutty".
Sponsors include Whitman Walker Clinic's LSP, Sugar, Riot Grrrl Ink, Rock Candy Baltimore, Leather Rack, and local artisan/crafters. There will be tantalizing performances, safer sex boxes, shot specials, and door prizes galore!
Cover $10. 21+. 8 p.m.-3 a.m. at Phase 1, 525 8th St., SE.

i've never actually been to phase 1 - can any new-gay ladiez speak to what a phase 1 experience is like?
also - what exactly is a safer sex box for lesbians, aside from fruit flavored, latex suffocation hazards? hand sanitizer?
the phase, as most call it, is a pretty cool place to hang out, meet cool folks, chill, grab a beer, play some pool, dance, see/hear a musician (or many musicians and artists at PhaseFest Sept. 11-14 http://www.phasefest.com/), etc.
sex boxes generally contain lube, a dental dam, a condom, and a glove.
i have the sexbox 360 and it's pretty awesome.
the phase is a great neighborhood bar. angela, the manager, is super nice. my only beef is that it's not in petworth or the cola hts.
