• Once, because I was embarrassed of my young English accent, I didn’t talk for a whole year of preschool; I have been making up for lost time ever since.

• I consider myself a thrifting connoisseur and have a wardrobe to prove it. 
  
• To me, the word lesbian sounds a lot like alien; thus, I hardly ever use the word.
