I picked up the Teahouse Fire by Ellis Avery because I heard such good things about it and it turned out the main character is a lesbian. Who knew? There are others, I just can't think of them now.

Absolutely anything by: T Cooper, Cherie Moraga, Michelle Tea, Felicia Luna Lemus, Octavia Butler, Jeanette Winterson, Eileen Myles, Carson McCullers.Rebeccahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02131830512764436603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33930404.post-86293963494540099232008-03-18T12:08:00.000-04:002008-03-18T12:08:00.000-04:00re: lesbian fiction- It has been a while since I r...re: lesbian fiction- It has been a while since I read it but one of the most gut-wrenching books assigned in the Gay and Lesbian Literature course I took in college was Radclyffe Hall's The Well of Loneliness.dentistnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33930404.post-81883330756127087352008-03-18T11:44:00.000-04:002008-03-18T11:44:00.000-04:00This is a really enjoyable post. Can the author eventually REMOVE stupid-ass tattoos from a character because he has the ability to edit it? Or, is he committed to keeping those awful tats permanent, just like in real life? Just wondering.John@BrightestYoungThings.comhttp://www.brightestyoungthings.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33930404.post-9101965221386661772008-03-18T10:53:00.000-04:002008-03-18T10:53:00.000-04:00My favorite name from Faggots was "Yootha Truth".My favorite name from Faggots was "Yootha Truth".Michaelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14531678036387047792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33930404.post-88613249547171946452008-03-18T10:52:00.000-04:002008-03-18T10:52:00.000-04:00Thomas Mann makes me cream my pants.
